Therapy doesn't have to be a drag! It can be an amazing, liberating experience. Whatever is troubling you, you can find the peace, power, and answers you seek. A strong therapeutic relationship is the most important factor in healing. With genuine appreciation for you, a strong, grounded presence, an open heart, honesty and humor, I will be your ally. Humans are relational by nature, and the health of our relationships impacts our well being. Our relationships to Nature, our community, our beloveds, and ourselves reflect our honest, sometimes hidden beliefs, and those beliefs are powerful tools for transformation. We will engage in experiential, evidenced based practices rooted in mindfulness, somatic awareness and compassion.

I am a licensed clinical social worker in New Mexico with 4 years of professional experience as a community based psychotherapist. I can help you work through relationship challenges, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, and parenting challenges. I have worked as a school social worker in Native communities, providing services to exceptional children, youth and families. I can help you advocate for your child so that they get services that will truly help them in school.

As a Native woman (Muscogee Nation) who works with Native communities, families, children, adolescents and adults, I have a deep understanding of the impact of historical and generational trauma on our lives. More importantly, I understand acknowledging the trauma is just the first step, and that we have a wealth of cultural practices to help us heal and thrive.

I am currently in postgraduate training in Traumatic Stress Studies with Dr. Bessel van der Kolk.
