Hi there, I'm Stephanie! Hello! My name is Stephanie and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been working in mental health for over ten years. My background includes crisis management, individual and group therapy, and medical social work. My goal as a therapist is to help you process negative experiences and to better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so you are better equipped to manage your symptoms and stressors. My approach My approach is Cognitive Behavioral focused. I will meet you with empathy and understanding to create a comfortable environment for intentional processing. I believe in working collaboratively with each client to identify treatment focuses and in creating treatment goals. My focus My experience has predominately been focused on anxiety and stress. My communication style I focus on creating a space that is safe and without judgment. My goals for you After getting to know the presenting concerns through the initial assessment, we will discuss what your goals for this process are. Together, we can develop a treatment plan aimed at reaching those goals. My first session with you During a first session, we will both get to know each other. I will ask questions about you, your presenting concerns, history, and your goals for the therapeutic process.
