About
As a therapist, I strive to foster relationships of trust and respect with my clients. Therapy dissects life occurrences and issues, and identifies obstacles that may be limiting personal performance. Once personal obstacles are clearly identified, emotional growth can occur through a process of learning to adapt, or removing negative thinking. The ability to achieve emotional growth often leads to an improved sense of health: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. I strive to support my clients' thoughts and feelings, while also encouraging the transformation of thoughts and emotions towards the pursuit of a fuller, more satisfying life. I specialize in helping my clients understand what emotional stability means, and how one can actively achieve their ideal life imagined. To achieve this, one must address issues and negative cognitive thinking. Within my sessions, I utilize harm reduction techniques and EMDR to hone in on negative thought processes acting as roadblocks that ultimately prevent goal achievement. I seek to understand each client as a unique individual seeking treatment. I admire the strength and willingness of my clients to share intimate details of their lives with me as we strive towards understanding and/or meaning. I believe everyone has the right to live happy and fulfilled, and this belief inspires my goal to help individuals’ access tools and skills to live their best life.
