About
As a queer trans-man and adoptee of color-identified therapist, I strive to provide an intersectional focus that seeks to embrace all identities relating to the self. I have had extensive experience working with and providing affirmative services for LGBTQ+ communities of color especially Asian and Pacific Islanders. My training includes harm reduction counseling, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. I strongly believe in the connectedness of empowerment while navigating through the course of life. My role as your therapist, is to provide a safe space where you can feel seen and heard as well as construct meaningful change. I value an integrative clinical lens that is person-centered, strength-based, and holistic. My passion for psychotherapy rests in the fact that recovery is possible and that we are all life-long learners. In my free time, I enjoy writing poetry and watching old episodes of the Golden Girls while consuming copious amounts of coffee.
