I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with experience over ten years involving a wide variety of clinical issues and clients. I have spent years counseling all ages regarding issues including, but not limited to, life changes, relationships, mood disorders, ADHD, anxiety, test anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self-harm, suicidal ideation. issues related to domestic violence, abuse, childhood trauma, mood disorders, schizophrenia, PTSD, and addressing healthy boundaries.
I utilize a variety of therapy techniques and theories to make sure that the client's needs are being met with the best fit. These have included CBT, Existential therapy, Bibliotherapy, Narrative Therapy, EMDR, Person-centered therapy, Mindfulness, and Art therapy.
I believe that every person is capable of making the change they desire if they invest in doing so. I also strongly believe in using encouragement and hope-building with all my clients as part of my therapy style, which my previous clients have reported as being helpful and meaningful. I do truly enjoy counseling and want to help each of my clients leave my sessions with increased self-confidence, self-awareness, self-acceptance, and hope.
