Are you unhappy with the way things in your life have been going? Do you experience emotions that cause you to feel out of control? This can be very frustrating and overwhelming. Unfortunately, many people have not been taught how to regulate intense emotions, and it can be difficult navigating life when we don’t feel like we are in the driver’s seat. What would it be like to learn new skills and perspectives that could lead you to achieve the life you have always imagined? As a therapist, I have worked with many individuals struggling with acceptance, managing intense emotions, intrusive thoughts, and interpersonal communication. My approach is to focus on identifying each client’s personal goals, then working together to make the goals a reality. Through creating a validating and nonjudgmental space, we can get curious about reoccurring patterns and themes in your life and start to create different ways of interacting with the world and issues that arise. I seek to help you develop a healthy relationship both with yourself and others. I aim to provide you with a safe therapeutic environment that allows for vulnerability, self-exploration, and building awareness. Together we will work toward accepting where you are right now in this very moment, while simultaneously promoting change.
