I am a licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with four years-experience counseling professionally and twenty-five years- experience working in the educational field including sixteen years providing educational and emotional support to adolescents in a mental health facility. I have a genuine compassion to help others struggling with life circumstances. My experience includes providing services to clients who struggle with issues which run the gamut from autistic spectrum disorders to oppositional defiant disorders. My counseling style is authentic with attention paid to client’s individual needs. I prefer to use client directed approaches and techniques, depending upon the needs and expectations of the individual client. I enjoy utilizing a variety of tools during counseling sessions and I am always open to new ideas and strategies. I am embracing technology usage as it is becoming more and more integrated in our society. We are moving away from traditional talk therapy. I am here and I care.
