Hello, and welcome to Find A Therapist! You are here to find some assistance with something that is going on in your life. I’d like to help you! Let me tell you a little about myself.

I earned my master’s in social work at the University of Montana in 2013, where I focused on co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Since then, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families in a variety of settings. I am a licensed clinical social worker and a master addiction counselor in the state of Tennessee.
My work as a therapist is guided by the humanist theory that people can heal and grow if they have assistance that is genuine, empathetic, and accepting. I believe that when we accept ourselves exactly as we are, then we can find the strength to change behaviors that are not serving us. I specialize in working with people who have substance use, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal conflict issues. The approaches I use include dialectic behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, positive psychology, attachment theory, and family systems theory.
