Welcome! My name is Stephanie Wambold. I am a masters-level clinical social worker licensed to practice in the state of Michigan and have over six years of experience as a therapist helping others who may be struggling with their mental health and overall well-being. I have successfully helped clients with a variety of concerns and issues, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, mood swings, grief and loss, abuse, chronic illness, trauma, major life changes, sleep difficulties, chronic stress, substance abuse, parenting difficulties, and low self-esteem.

My therapy style has been described as comfortable and empathetic yet challenging and empowering. I believe that a therapeutic relationship should be built around trust and respect, while focusing on the client's strengths and abilities. Additionally, I place a lot of emphasis on providing clients with practical and easy-to-use skills to help improve their mental health and well-being.

Overall, my goal is to provide therapy in a style and approach that is most comfortable and helpful to the client. Because of this, my sessions with clients are not highly structured (no set agenda!) and I will guide the client in a manner that is closely aligned with what THEY want to accomplish in therapy.
