About
Hi, my name is Stephanie Reichenfeld and I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (96232). I believe that the therapist-client relationship is an essential component of the therapy process. My focus of practice is treating individuals and couples who struggle with relationships and various mental health disorders. My approach I have an eclectic style, however, primarily use Client-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral approaches to therapy. Building a therapeutic relationship and facilitating ways to identify maladaptive thinking patterns are key components to helping clients reach their treatment goals. My focus The clients I typically work with are individuals and couples. I provide services to all ages who are dealing with Mood, Anxiety, and Adjustment Disorders, and Couples who struggle with communication, intimacy, and connection issues within their relationship dynamic. The areas I tend to focus on in therapy are processing through past/recent trauma, self-esteem, codependency, addiction, enhancing relationships, and managing stress. My communication style I have an open mind and a non-judgmental vibe during therapy sessions. My clients have told me that I am easy to talk to, compassionate, and approachable. Although I am a therapist and have clinical training, I believe that my clients are the experts in their own life and I am here to offer support in their journey. My journey to mental healthcare At a young age, I knew I wanted to work in the Mental Health field and become a therapist. I myself went through therapy and it significantly impacted my life. I want to make a difference in your lives and support you through whatever challenges you are faced with. Sometimes we just need someone to talk to but asking for help is not always. I am here to listen, validate, and uplift you on this journey, and want you to know that you are not alone.
