I am in awe every day of the tremendous strength and courage my clients exhibit when they decide to begin therapy. Clients I work with are ready to do the difficult work of healing past trauma and childhood wounds. I work with clients who are eager to engage in learning new coping skills in therapy and are actively practicing these skills outside of therapy. Many even engage in their self-study with recommended “homework” and reading material. Before becoming an LCSW, I was a US Naval Nurse Corps Officer (RN). I have an extensive background in the medical profession and powerful compassion towards caring for others. I not only have the knowledge and experience necessary to help you, but I have walked my path of healing through therapy. I know it is possible to feel better. I know how hard it is to find that perfect therapist. Someone you can “click” with and someone you feel you can trust. I’ve been there myself. That is why I provide a judgment-free, safe space for my clients to share their thoughts and feelings. I hope you will allow me to walk alongside you in your journey to better health.
