I am Stephan, a licensed therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience. I have worked in university counseling, community mental health, primary care behavioral health settings where I provided both short-term long-term treatment support to clients who struggled mostly with adjustment challenges, anxiety, depression, relational issues, stress management, making healthful behavior changes. My primary therapeutic approach is human-centered collaborative. I use empathy gained from my own life experiences to provide clients with warm acceptance, unconditional positive regard, a safe space to be their authentic selves, without fear of judgement. I try my best to meet clients where they are so that we can work together to achieve their goals, at their own pace. My goal is to provide clients with a warm and safe environment where they can feel comfortable enough to begin openly exploring and discussing their challenges, recognizing helpful insights about themselves their behaviors, affirming personal strengths, values goals, and eliciting constructive thoughts actions that are conducive to behavioral health progress, personal growth, healing or recovery.
