About

Do you ever feel like your life is always on the ‘go’, struggling to balance life, work, and no time for yourself? Do you ever feel stuck in life? Feel like no matter what you do, things do not seem to get better? Do you ever feel lonely, sad, and at times like no one hears you or understands you? If so, you came to the right place! We all go through challenges in life. You are not alone. As a working parent, I understand the stigma of mental health and seeking support, while balancing the life of providing for your family and taking care of yourself.

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with 10 years of professional work experiences in helping clients with stress and anxiety, parenting issues, depression, coping with life changes, perinatal mental health, grief, trauma, relationship issues, and adjustment. I am passionate about helping adults address their unique challenges and live a more fulfilled life. I utilize multiple treatment approaches including empowerment, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-in-environment (PIE), motivational interviewing, holistic approach, and solution-focused therapy. This, coupled with my professional experience, enables me to provide the guidance and support her clients are seeking.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. You are the expert of your life. I will work with you to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. You will feel heard, validated and supported. I take the time to listen to what you are sharing and will always do my best to understand your views and past experiences. I am committed while providing a safe place to talk and addressing anything that is on your mind. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I wish clients to know that it’s normal and okay to be experiencing these thoughts and feelings—-that they are not alone and there is hope and light at the end of the tunnel. I am here to support you in that process.

If you are ready to do the work, schedule an appointment with me today! I look forward to working with you!
