About

Hello! My name is Stefanie and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Substance Use Disorder Professional.

I started my career in social work over 10 years ago and have spent a majority of my practice time working with adults who are struggling with mental health and/or substance use disorders. I am passionate about normalizing the process of seeking help to address mental health symptoms and believe taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health.

My style of therapy is direct, honest, and compassionate. I don’t believe in sugar-coated or watered-down therapy, so it’s important to me that there's open communication and transparency throughout the process. I’ve worked with many different people and situations in my career, so no judgments here. To me therapy is a partnership; you guide the process and I will not only listen, but offer support and resources to help you overcome or mitigate what’s going on for you. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and thought disorders. I also have extensive history working with individuals who are worried about their drug and alcohol use patterns.

Outside of my career, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with my dogs, traveling, and exercising.
