Sometimes we all need a supportive ear when we become stuck. As a psychotherapist my goal is to provide a nonjudgemental safe space for clients to express themselves. By building a strong therapeutic alliance and using a strength based approach, I help my clients achieve their goals and overcome challenges and obstacles standing in their way. I believe in bite-size progress to help motivate us to make bigger changes over time. I integrate into my work my formal education and my extensive experience working in various treatment settings with children, adolescents and adults. I use a solution focused approach combined with cognitive behavioral skills in my practice. When working with children I use play therapy to help them learn skills to communicate their thoughts and feelings. I tailor my sessions to each individual client as everyone may need something different.
