Life can be stressful and even overwhelming at times. I believe that everyone can benefit from having someone to listen carefully and encourage them in their day to day lives. Hi my name is Stacy Vollands and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in the State of Texas. I am also Licensed in Minnesota as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I am also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and an EMDR trained therapist. I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with Eating Disorders, Body Image concerns, Trauma, OCD, Anxiety Disorders, and Depression utilizing therapies such as DBT, CBT, ERP, ACT, EFFT, and EMDR.

I have a very approachable and warm style that is collaborative and focused on the unique needs of each individual. Kindness and compassion are very important to me and I have the ability to listen carefully, without judgment which helps individuals to feel valued and cared for. I love to walk with people through core issues and trauma from the past so that they can build on their ability to live well and develop a more fulfilling and peaceful life in the present. I also love to teach coping skills to help reduce stress and tolerate and regulate distressing emotions. These coping skills can give people some immediate relief while they work on overcoming deeper emotional, relational, and other related difficulties in their lives so that they can prosper in relationships, work and life.
