Stacy Koch is a Licensed Social Worker and holds an endorsement in School Social Work. She received her Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Arizona and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Loyola University in Chicago. Stacy’s extensive experience includes work in outpatient and in-patient settings along with spending many years in community mental health facilities as well in private practice. As a therapist and social worker, Stacy’s goal is to help people reach their greatest potential. She believes therapy works best when provided in an empathetic and nurturing space. Using an integrative approach Stacy tailors her process and begins wherever you are and identifies a plan to start working towards where you want to be. Treatment is collaborative and builds on a non-judgmental alliance. Her treatment philosophy includes a strength-based and person-centered approach. She uses empirically-based treatment modalities such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness. Stacy is also a trauma-informed treatment provider. Stacy’s background includes working in the mental health field helping both adults and children. She embraces the diverse challenges that this pandemic brings and has adapted her practice to meet the unique needs of this time. Areas of specialty include PTSD, Perinatal Mood Disorder, and Depression and Anxiety-related health conditions including fibromyalgia and Lupus. Stacy also does parent coaching and family work.
