With years of experience serving both individuals and family systems, I have addressed a vast array of symptoms related to mental health concerns. Some of these have consisted of anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation, substance abuse, trauma, and family conflict. Laurell K. Hamilton states "There are wounds that never show on the body that are deeper and more hurtful than anything that bleeds". These wounds can develop from both our environmental influences or even within our own minds. Sometimes these wounds can be ignored for weeks, months, years, and even between generations.
My specialties lie both in the individual and family settings working with both adolescents and adults. My approaches within the therapy setting are an integration of Psychodyamic Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Existential Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Systemic Therapy, and Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy.
