Hi. My name is Staci Cabbiness. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor offering individual and family counseling to adults and adolescents in person or through televideo. I am a dedicated professional who is passionate about helping others find fulfillment and peace of mind in themselves, their family, and in their relationships. Maybe you and your partner or you and your family are suffering from conflict and communication difficulties and need some help resolving these challenges. Sometimes parents and/or caregivers just don’t know how to help their teen with their mental health difficulties. You are in the right place! I have seen positive changes in the people I have worked with and I hope to assist you in reaching your goals. People that I have worked with have told me that I demonstrate a genuine and caring persona. I believe that is the result of the passion and fulfillment that I bring to my work. I seek to establish a connection with my clients so that they feel heard and understood. I like to build on a person’s or a families’ strengths and assist them in better understanding themselves. I would love to help you navigate your way to happiness, confidence, tranquility, and the ability to manage stress. I work with a wide variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar, self-esteem, anger management, trauma, boundary-setting, communication issues, infidelity, life transitions, impulsivity, and addiction, just to name a few. My approach is an integration of different perspectives as I believe that not all people benefit from one type of counseling. During sessions, I explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while also fostering self-compassion, mindfulness, and emotional regulation and communication techniques for living a joyful and soothing lifestyle.
