Hi Everyone! My name is Stacey and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor from Buffalo, NY. I completed my Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2007. I later went on to complete some doctoral work and research in Counselor Education at the University at Buffalo. I want to start off by commending you for reaching out. The desire to make change and get help is a very hard first step that you have conquered. I have done a lot of work with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has allowed me to work with my clients to explore their thought patterns and figure out how their thoughts may be impacting their emotions and actions. Dialectical Behavior Therapy focuses on mindfulness and really let's us instill tools to use when working through trauma and other forms of stress. It is my goal to listen to you so we can determine what can can work on to get you where you want to be. I genuinely believe that no one should suffer alone. We can work together to help you find the best version of you possible.
