Over the past 10 years as a practicing therapist, helping people help themselves has only become more and more exciting. What a joy and privilege it is to be part of others' journeys. My specialties include; individual young adults (roughly ages 15-50) as well as marriage/couples counseling. More specifically, the clients I work best present with anxiety, depression, impulse-control disorders (such as habitual pornography usage), life-transitions, and relationship challenges. For those curious about modalities; my general therapeutic approach relies heavily on evidence-based CBT, DBT, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I also utilize Motivational Interviewing, EFT, and Gottman-informed therapy for couples. I attended the University of Utah for my education, and have a Masters in Clinical Social Work (therapy) and Masters in Public Health Administration.
