About

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Chicago, IL with years of experience working with adults facing a range of issues such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders and the symptoms associated with trauma and/or PTSD. As a clinician I thrive on the power of an authentic therapeutic relationship and work from a holistic and strengths-based approach. I strive to create a safe and accepting space wherein clients can begin to build a fuller understanding of themselves and their challenges as the first steps toward bringing about meaningful change.

It is my belief that therapy works best when it is approached collaboratively. It is a shared process of discovery, change and growth. Entering therapy is a brave step toward the life that we want to ultimately be living, but that step can also be daunting. My role as therapist is that of fellow-traveler on the journey, guide and support. My clinical demeanor has been described as warm and accepting.
