Hey I'm Sonny. I employ a trauma informed approach using ACT therapy for setting goals around your personal values. Once we have your goals established, I utilize DBT and CBT to increase your ability to achieve your goals. I believe all people have experiences in life that cause distress. I also believe each person has the power to be the victor, to what life tried to make them a victim of.

I have an associate's degree in addiction studies, bachelor's degree in psychology, and a master's degree in professional counseling. I was officially licensed with my LPC in 2020. I have been working with adolescents, families, and young adults since 2006. Since 2011, I have primarily worked with families who have youth involved in the juvenile justice system. Much of my work has centered around making positive changes to the juvenile justice system to better support youth and their families involved.
