Hello, I am Sonia. The best part of my workdays is listening to people’s life stories! I feel fortunate to be in a profession where I get to know people's lives, fears, hardships, etc. As your therapist, I am responsible for providing a safe space free of judgment to you and anyone seeking therapy with me. I work hard to continue my growth as an individual and therapist to provide you with the best care. Before working for Path Mental Health, I worked in various mental health settings for the past eight years. This includes a residential treatment facility, a child advocacy center, a juvenile justice center, and a school setting. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and other evidence-based trauma-informed therapeutic models. I like using an integrative approach to therapy to create the best care for my clients.
