I am a licensed psychologist and completed a doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Adelphi University. I specialize in the treatment of individuals with OCD and anxiety disorders. I also specialize in helping individuals who struggle with substance use and their families. What is your approach to therapy? I use evidence-based approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy when working with clients. I see myself as a guide, someone who helps you go where you want to go. At the end of the day, you know what’s best for you. I have lots of tools and strategies that research and experience have shown to be effective, but you will decide whether these resonate with you. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? My goal is to help you become your own therapist, so you can continue to thrive even after we end our work together.
