Hello!
I have worked with children, adolescents and adults for over 20 years in many different settings from childcare, preschool, inpatient care to rehabilitation. Much of my experience is working with children and adults with disabilities. I welcome people from all backgrounds and cultures and believe strongly in diversity and inclusion. I am from a non traditional blended and very diverse family from Hispanic, Caucasian, African American to Native American. I have raised four teenagers and have three grand babies. I also work with adults and children face to face outside of Find A Therapist as a Registered Play Therapist. On this platform I like to work with those who are new to counseling or need a new positive experience in counseling to help them feel welcome and work on the foundational goals of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am very laid back and take on a relaxed patient way of counseling that is not overwhelming and/or intimidating. I provide many resources of podcast, videos, worksheets and more to provide a psycho education to help you learn about how the mind works and handles stress. I also emphasize a great amount on rebuilding self esteem and self confidence.

The therapeutic experience is the starting of building and rebuilding life’s goals and directions. I am here to interrupt the pattern. That bad pattern that keeps you in circles. Therapy is hard work at first but it is very worth your growth and learning. People come to therapy to find answers. I am here to help you find those answers.
