My name is Shylah Ridgway and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a master’s degree in Social Work and have been providing therapy for just under seven years. I am trained in Trauma Focused – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and I am currently a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator - Candidate. The Daring Way™ is an empirically based training and certification program for helping professionals, based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and nurturing environment that allows you to show up as your authentic self. I take a direct approach with my clients, as I truly believe people can be empowered to change and heal. I have worked in a wide variety of locations with people of all ages, providing individual, family and group therapy in outpatient, school, nursing facility and medical settings.
