My name is Shu-Ching Wang. I am a licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in MN. I have earned a Ph.D. degree in Educational Psychology and a M.Ed. degree on mental health counseling. I believe in inner strength and individuals hold the power of healing. My working experience includes individual and group therapy in outpatient Mental Health Centers; I have worked with individuals from various ethnicities and cultural backgrounds. I am specialized in issues of Depression, Anxiety, Stress, and PTSD. I am also passionate about working with immigrant with acculturation struggles and parenting difficulties. My approach to therapy is eclectic. I honor the uniqueness of individual client and believe therapy should be individualized. A customized treatment is drawn from a variety of approaches, such as Pearson-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based Therapy, Existential Therapy to meet the unique situation of individual client.
