Shira is versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, group therapy, interpersonal skills, and Motivational Interviewing. She is passionate about supporting those in need to make positive and meaningful changes in their lives through a compassionate and therapeutic lens. She utilizes reflective listening and empathy when needed and aims to be a support for all her clients. Shira has worked in outpatient and inpatient substance abuse in a behavioral health setting. Shira has treated clients with substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and behavioral/ mental health diagnoses. Shira’s clinical experience includes many different therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, and MI. Shira has experience working with all ages but specializes in adolescents - older adults, couples, and families.
