Mental health is something that impacts us all. As someone who has met with therapists throughout my own life, I know how important it is to find a therapist you can trust and connect with. I approach my clients with the same level of compassion and empathy that I know I would want. I believe in genuine connections and working alongside my clients rather than coming in as the expert. I share my knowledge while the client shares their story so we can come together to discover the best next steps they can take to support them on their mental health journey. I want to help them be able to move on from any past experiences they may feel “stuck” in and toward their best and truest selves. There is so much healing and power in that!

For those who are interested in knowing more about my professional background, I have worked in the mental health field for approximately 15 years and have worked in a variety of settings including a medical clinic, school, outpatient practice, and group homes. I earned my Master's in Social Work degree (MSW) in 2012 and earned my clinical social work license (LICSW) in 2018. I have the most experience and focus on working with older adolescents and young adults ages 15-25 and women of all ages. My main areas of focus have included anxiety and stress related disorders. When clinically appropriate and/or requested, I utilize other tools such as the Enneagram personality test and incorporate the client's spiritual beliefs and practices.

For those who are interested in knowing who I am on a personal note, I am equal parts depth and fun; thoughtful and quirky. I am married and have 4 children (2 of which are my stepchildren). In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, camping, yoga, playing card and board games, reading, working on puzzles, and trying new things. Really you could say I am an outgoing introvert. I can't wait to meet you and help you on your mental health journey!
