Sherry Sheffield earned her bachelor’s degree in the field of Human Services in 2009 upon which she pursued a career with the Department of Children and Family Services. She then went on to earn her Master of Arts in Community Counseling in 2013 upon which she currently practices as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Sherry is currently pursuing her doctorates at Walden University studying Sociology. She specializes in Healthy Relationships, Grief Counseling, Spiritual Healing using Reiki and working with survivors of domestic violence and recently created Say Grace! Catering Services. Sherry enjoys working with children, families and populations of clients afflicted with severe mental illness. Recently, she decided to go back to school for massage therapy to merge the two worlds of traditional therapy and physical healing as the Body Keeps the Score in trauma experiences. The motto that she lives by is: “Life is a journey and a process; we must enjoy the journey and trust the process by taking one step one day at a time.” -Sherry S. Sheffield, MA, LPC LADC
