About

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Texas with over 25 years of experience working as a therapist. I’ve worked with clients with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship issues and career challenges. I’ve worked with Veterans for the past 10 years.


My style is warm and interactive, but I’m direct, too. I wish we didn’t have to use diagnostic labels, but that is the sandbox we play in so we have to play by the rules. My approach is based in a therapeutic model called ACT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, sprinkled with some gold nuggets I picked up from other modalities through the years.

The ACT question is - Will you in this present moment accept the sad and the sweet, hold lightly the stories about what is possible, and be the author of a life that has meaning and purpose for you, turning back to it in kindness when you veer off course?

I help you answer that question with a resounding YES by helping you build the skills required to embody that wisdom.
