About
I have been working with families, couples, children, and individuals for more than 10 years. It has been my role to support them as they live through trauma, domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health problems. I am also experienced when it comes to relationships, marriage, and family therapy. I have both a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Social Work from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Social Work with a Clinical Concentration in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Minor in Substance Use Treatment from Wayne State University. As a clinician who has been in the field for over the last decade, I have developed a person-centered approach, which I apply to my practice. I pay close attention to your needs based on my observation during our session. In a more technical viewpoint, I utilize EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psycho-dynamic approaches to help you discover and meet your goals. Prepare to grow in our sessions as we learn from each other the better ways to communicate with people, build empathy, gain insight, enhance emotional IQ, and increase listening skills. I’m excited to start our journey together!
