Greetings and thank you for looking at my profile. Please be sure to read all the way through to make sure you are choosing the right therapist for you! I have been working in the field of clinical social work, here in Southern California, for over 30 years. Working in both clinic and private practice settings, I have extensive experience with an array of populations and their mental health challenges. I have the most experience working with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma related issues, as well as LGBTQ+ issues (Although supportive, I am not a member of this community) I am client centered, utilizing various interventions taken from a range of therapeutic approaches. It is my experience that the best results come when a therapist and client work as a team, focusing on specific goals. It is the therapeutic alliance that yields healing and movement towards accomplishing goals. It is essential that you find a psychotherapist with whom you feel comfortable discussing the intimate details of your life. The goal of therapy is not only to help the clients address their current issues, but also to teach new tools to utilize when life gets bumpy! I read my messages Monday through Fridays, with the goal of responding in 48 hours or less. I rarely will check my messages on weekends. ✅I have a limited number of live 30 minute phone sessions available. I write this not to discourage you, but to make sure we are a good fit✅.
