Hello from Shelley Miller. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 30 years of experience. I strive for short term , goal-oriented, interactive therapy. My previous career was as a genetics counselor, so I bring a medical background, as well as experience in trauma and chemical dependency. Becoming your best and most authentic person is something I may be able to help facilitate. As John F. Kennedy said, "When written in Chinese, the word 'crisis' is composed of two characters. One represents danger and the other represents opportunity." I look forward to bringing the opportunity.
If we decide to work together, I would spend some time becoming familiar with you, your life and family, and your goals for therapy. We will work out the best therapy platform and timeframe for your needs. I will want you to be comfortable with me, as a good therapy fit is important.
