My Name is Shelby Urrutia and I have been working as a therapist/counselor for the past 8 years. I began working as a substance abuse counselor in an outpatient setting, then transitioned to providing services within the Texas Prison System for nearly 5 years. I began providing treatment to clients in a behavioral hospital (both inpatient and outpatient programs) for the following years. My experience with very diverse client populations has been a blessing and an amazing learning experience. The counseling experience is one of growth and I look forward to walking alongside future clients in their journies as well.
