My name is Shelby Fryar. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Tennessee. I have experience working in private practice and residential settings with acute crisis as well as addiction. I specialize in trauma and am trained in EMDR. If you are struggling with anxiety, stress, fatigue from the world, depression, going through life transitions or struggling to get up in the morning I think we could work well together.

My approach to therapy is very client centered allowing you to direct where you want the work to go. I offer support and will work with you to help you get the most out of your life. I pull skills from DBT, CBT and Motivational Interviewing - meaning that mindfulness, thought processes and why you do what you do are the main focuses during the therapeutic hour.
