I am a therapist licensed as an LCSW in Utah for over 15 years. I have experience as a psychotherapist working with a wide range of mental illnesses. I have experience in treating depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and PTSD.
My style in treating my clients is very person centered. I believe in being very empathetic and warm. I believe in being accepting and compassionate with a wide range of personal issues. I have worked in a community mental health system for 15 years and have treated diverse populations including the LGBTQ community.
I have been trained and am experienced in treating trauma, specifically, using the models EMDR and Seeking Safety models, I have used the model DBT for 15 years in individual and group settings.
I really admire the strength of my clients who seek help and do the work to heal from trauma, life stressors, and other mental illnesses. I believe it takes great courage. I hope to be there to help you through the journey.
