Hello and thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Sheena and I am a Clinical Social Worker, licensed in the state of New York. I have been involved in `the helping professions’ for most of my adult life and feel I understand the challenges and struggles that come along with making life changes and meeting new goals.

In my years as a social worker, I have been fortunate to work in various clinical settings using the evidence based practices of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. My work has always been focused on the individual treatment of the person living with a substance use disorder, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, abuse, grief or mood disorders.

My counseling style is grounded in respect for the individual and I will work with you to design a treatment plan that progresses at your pace, enabling you to reflect on your movement toward the goals that you value. Working together, I am confident we can build upon your strengths to allow your authentic self to come through.
