If you are struggling with how your past is still impacting who you are today, you are ready and willing to take concrete steps toward healing, let's talk. Your past wounds do not have to control how you are experiencing your life today and your future. I want to learn what happened to you and go beyond a diagnosis that may have been given you. My ideal client is someone ready to do the work to find relief from suffering, not just learn to tolerate suffering. Together, we will find clear and mutually agreed-upon goals that will help you transform your life and experience. I have 8+ years of experience working in a variety of settings. I am fully Certified in EMDR and specialize in treating complex trauma/PTSD and anxiety. I have worked with individuals and families of all ages throughout my 2nd professional career, including adjudicated youth, at-risk teens, families involved with social services, victims of sexual exploitation/trafficking and crime, active duty military, and Veterans. I am also passionate about helping survivors of childhood trauma, sexual assault/trauma, and those impacted by loss and grief process. I also have a background in substance use assessment and treatment. In addition, I did a social work immersion study focused on trauma in Munich, Germany, and I have research experience in treating trauma/PTSD at the VA.
