Hi there! *Waving.* I'm Shea Daniels (she/her), an independently licensed clinical counselor in the state of Ohio.

I am passionate about providing a quality counseling experience people of all backgrounds. Life is weird enough, counseling should just be comfortable (or as comfortable as dealing with uncomfortable emotions and traumatic experiences can be), yeah? I tend to do my best work with clients who are a little hesitant about starting counseling or haven't had the greatest counseling experiences in the past; I'm kind of quirky, I use a lot of humor when it's appropriate, I believe in the power of the therapy meme, and I am all about pets attending sessions, so feel free to bring pets!

I am a trained EMDR provider and a DBT therapist, which basically means I am a trained trauma therapist. Like all counselors, however, I completed a generalist program of graduate studies and also pull from CBT, REBT, client centered counseling, and so many of the other well-researched interventions out there.
