Greetings!

My name is Shaunae and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years with experience across diverse populations and communities. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, homelessness, relationship issues, major life transitions, and parenting problems. I have also helped individuals who have a history of trauma and abuse.

My therapy style is person-centered. I believe that compassion, support, patience, and unconditional positive regard are what is necessary in helping others become the person they choose to be and live the life that is best suited for them. As a therapist, it is not my position to tell you how to think or live your life; instead, I prefer to be a supportive passenger on your journey, providing guidance and/or assistance tailored to your unique experience. The primary goal is to get you to your preferred destination of wellness as safely as possible.

It takes a great amount of courage to start the journey of unpacking and addressing unresolved issues, and I commend you for taking the steps towards mental wellness. I am here to support and empower you on your journey. I look forward to working with you!
