I have 32 years of clinical experience in the field of addictions and mental health. This includes group and family counseling. Individual counseling with an approach that included CBT, DBT, and MCBT. I believes that people can heal in an environment of empathetic, professional and confidential treatment. We have created a non-judgmental positive atmosphere where clients can process challenges and spawn personal growth. We understand that people are powerful and choices can lead to self awareness as well as positive change. Let me tell you a little about me as person and as a therapist. I believe the relationship between a therapist and a client is the most important factor in determining a positive outcome for the client. We must be able to establish trust and build a working relationship that is comfortable yet has room for growth. I am easygoing yet I am firm on boundaries. I believe in a mindfulness-based approach in therapy although eclectic techniques will be used as it relates to the betterment of the client.
