I am a licensed independent mental health practitioner in Nebraska with more than 22 years of experience working as a counselor and life coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, self-esteem, and finding meaning in their lives. I have specialized in PTSD and post-traumatic growth: helping people grow into the thriving stage after surviving physical and/or emotional abuse.

My therapy style is warm, comfortable, interactive, and direct. Whenever possible, I bring creativity and laughter into the therapy process. I believe in treating all with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines humanistic, expressive, affect-management skills-based, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I frequently use DBT skills, CBT and RET approaches as well. All work is individualized to your specific needs.
