Hello! I am a licensed professional counselor in Houston, Texas with over 5 years experience working in a variety of settings such as inpatient, private practice, and schools. My experience in private practice and inpatient counseling has allowed me to refine my skills in many areas. These areas include individual counseling, family counseling, as well as group counseling. I have worked with children as young as 3 and adults at to the age of 85. My particular interest lie in working with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, or may be just unsure where to take their life next. I am currently a school counselor and am interested to working with adolescents on a deeper level.

My treatment approach is client centered and solution focused. My belief is that all clients are unique and hold the answers to their issue. With guidance, every person has the ability to navigate through their struggles. I work towards providing a safe place where clients feel comfortable and understood. A good foundation in a therapeutic relationship relies on trust. I work toward building a trusting relationship through being warm, caring, and nonjudgmental. I am trained in solution focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectal behavior therapy. Being that each person is unique and have their own needs, I work to form a treatment plan in coordination with the client so that we can have the most successful counseling relationship possible.
