Hi there! My name is Shay, and I am a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina . I have experience in helping clients with anxiety and depression, trauma and abuse, motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I am trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and specialize in Trauma-Focused CBT as well. In therapy, I enjoy incorporating music and art, as well as meditation and mindfulness. I especially enjoy working with adolescents, teens and young adults. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths and the resilience that will assist you in overcoming the many challenges you may face in your life. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life isn't easy, but I am here to help you through that process.
