ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome!
You have just taken the first step towards healing. It may seem a bit overwhelming right now but having identified the need to seek assistance in making changes in your life was a good decision; a brave decision and I am here to support you. Moving forward is a big step so I want to thank you for considering me as your partner on this journey.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I work with clients from ages 6 to senior adults presenting issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, self-esteem and self-identity issues, substance abuse, family relationship and marital conflicts, grief and obsessive-compulsive behaviors. I attended Sam Houston State University, receiving an undergraduate’s and master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. I have experience in therapy for adolescents, young adults, and seniors. My history with patients extends to individual and group therapy and I have experience working with individuals and groups in private therapy sessions as well as residential treatment centers.
My first and only concern during therapy is you. By personalizing sessions to fit your needs in a comfortable and safe environment, it is my priority to work together in achieving your therapy goals. I would describe my approach as one that draws from a range of modalities suitable to your needs. These modalities include Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Existential Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, SMART Recovery, and Trauma-Focused Therapy.
