You’re scared that talking about the terrible things that happened will make it more real. You need someone who can provide some immediate relief, is safe to talk to, and will work at your pace.

You are an expert on your own experiences, I am a professional who understands how our mind and body reacts to trauma. Tell me what you can, when you can, and I will be right here for you.

I treat my clients how I want my therapist to treat me; I talk to you like an equal and feel with you. I use my experience being in therapy for PTSD to help me understand with compassion the experiences of my clients.

Special Interest in: queer/LGBTQIAA+, non-monogamous/polyamorous relationships, gender non-conforming, trauma, relationships/marriage/couples. The theories and therapeutic approaches I utilize the most are Psychodynamic psychotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy.
