Welcome and thank you for taking the first step towards change, healing, and becoming a better you. My name is Shaneeka Roberts and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. I have been a Social Worker for more than 15 years years and have experience working with people from diverse backgrounds. I have the most experience working with anxiety, family/relationship conflicts, life transitions, depression, substance abuse, and complex trauma/abuse.

My commitment to the field of social worker is due to my personal experiences. I grew up with close family members living with mental illness, substance abuse addiction which caused my own mental health challenges. I dealt with my mental health challenges in silence for many years. After many years, I finally sought therapy because I wanted to find my purpose and a path to happiness. I know the first step to seeking therapy is the most challenging because of the fear of judgement. However, I also know from my personal journey how much life can change for the better when you find support and take steps towards taking care of yourself.

I would describe myself as compassionate, empathetic, non-judgmental, honest, and possess great energy. In our work together, you will always be the driver of your life journey and I am the passenger helping find your way to happiness and freedom. We can work on developing goals to overcome your current life stressors and challenges. I use a trauma informed, strength-based, and client-centered approach to assist you find meaning and purpose in life.
