Shakyra Winston is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Shakyra has 3 years of experience in therapy and 6 years of experience in advocacy working with sexual assault survivors. Shakyra also has experience working with couples, women, men, LGBTQ+ populations, teens, children, and families. Shakyra has worked as a therapist in school, residential, and non-for-profit settings providing individual, group, and family therapy. Shakyra has experience working with depression, Postpartum Depression, anxiety, other mental illness, trauma, interpersonal/relational issues, and day to day stressors. Shakyra has training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Sex Therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, and crisis management. Outside of being a therapist, Shakyra passionately provides intimacy coaching to traditional and non-traditional couples in addition to doula services to expectant mothers.
